Hello from the Madison Baptist Association!

  • ACP FORMS need to be filled out in time to create the necessary documents for the annual meeting. Please take the time out of your schedule to fill these out. Thank you very much!
  • September 16-18ththe MBA will be hosting a Sustainable Discipleship Workshop with Doug Burrier! The cost is $100 for MBA members; you can sign up through madisonbaptists.org, under "events".
  • October 3rd is our next First Thursday at the MBA building at 10:30am. Come hear Rev. Morgan Bailey, Equipping Alabama Pastor, speak and eat lunch with us afterwards!
  • The Golf tournament on October 3rd has been cancelled.
  • October 6th will be our Annual Meeting at New Salem Baptist Church. We will meet from 3:00-6:00pm to discuss the last year of the MBA and where we are going next!
  • October 7-10th are the drop off dates for Trail Mix to help out with the SPECIAL OLYMPICS of Madison County. October 15th is the Special Olympics with a rain date of the 17th. The basic recipe can be found below:

1 - 14oz Box of Honey Nut Cheerios, or any Cheerios

1 - 7.5oz jar salted sunflower seeds

2 - 6oz bags Sun Maid Fruit bits or other dried fruit

1 - 15oz box of raisins.

Please add something colorful and interesting like Fruit Loops, Goldfish, Pretzels, little marshmallows, etc. (No Peanuts or anything that would melt in the sun).

  • October 14-17th is the due date for Christmas backpacks. Please bring them to the MBA office during any of those days from 9am-3pm!
  • The Christian Job Corps is needing lunch providers and mentors for their CJC students at three sites this semester: First Baptist Church, HSV; Gurley Site; and the men's site at West Huntsville Baptist.For more information, contact 256-428-9404.
