Mission Statement

The Madison Baptist Association is a self-governing fellowship of autonomous Baptist Churches voluntarily cooperating to serve Christ. The mission of the association is to assist in equipping the affiliated churches to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ through prayer, worship, evangelism, Christian education, discipleship, fellowship, ministries and missions.

God's Purposes for the Association:

1. Building fellowship and community between churches.

2. Providing training opportunities for churches and leaders to be more effective.

3. Being a resource center for Christian ministries.

4. Assisting churches to find needs in their communities and to determine how to meet those needs.

5. Planting new churches and nurturing existing ones along with their missions.

6. Fostering cooperative mission efforts.

7. Promoting world missions.

8. Maintaining effective relationships with other Southern Baptist entities.
